As the primary contact, you will facilitate onboarding, coordinate new patient intake, assist with documentation and insurance verification, and ensure timely communication across patients, pharmacies, and care teams to deliver a seamless patient experience.

Position Overview

Happy Feet Podiatry is seeking a compassionate, organized, and service-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to help support patients, families, referral partners, and providers throughout the care journey.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will serve as a primary point of contact for patients and referral sources, helping facilitate onboarding, communication, care coordination, and access to services. This role plays a vital part in ensuring patients receive a seamless, supportive, and positive experience from referral through ongoing care.

The ideal candidate has a healthcare background and is comfortable communicating with patients, providers, caregivers, pharmacies, and community partners. This role involves supporting medication orders, care coordination activities, clinical documentation workflows, and patient communication. Candidates with experience as a Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or in a similar healthcare role are strongly encouraged to apply. Individuals with medical office experience and a willingness to learn may also be successful in this position.

  • Proficiency with computers and electronic systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or similar healthcare training or certification
  • Experience in a physician office, specialty practice, home health, long-term care, hospital, or other healthcare setting
  • Experience coordinating patient care, medication orders, referrals, or clinical documentation
  • Familiarity with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and healthcare administrative processes
  • Experience working within electronic medical record systems

Candidates with strong medical office experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply, even if they do not hold a clinical certification.
