Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a 20-hour-per-week day-shift role with a rotating schedule and on-call requirements in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital setting. The ST will provide intra-operative care and precept staff under RN supervision, contributing to high patient satisfaction and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program.
• Certification preferred; must obtain certification within one month of hire.
• Greater than one year of experience.
• Ability to be thoroughly trained to meet organizational standards.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Circulating nurse by passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique.
• Assist in counts of sponge, sharps, and instruments.
• Participate in WHO checklist and safety initiatives.
• Be available for on-call duties (nights, weekends, holidays).
