Job summary

Pernod Ricard is seeking a Data & AI Intern for a 6-month program based in our Island office in central Paris (Saint Lazare). You will contribute to the technical implementation of key data science programs, develop code, and maintain ML and optimization models in the Data & AI team.

You should master Python, OOP, and have a solid grounding in Data Science/ML, with knowledge of ETL, API and SQL. Experience with DL frameworks or LLM tooling is a strong plus, and English fluency is required

Qualifications

• Must complete 6-month internship with a school agreement.
• Strong Python and OOP skills.
• Theoretical grounding in Data Science and ML.
• Knowledge of ETL, API, SQL and data storage concepts.
• Exposure to DL frameworks or LLM tooling is a strong plus.
• Proactive, rigorous, autonomous and able to work in a team.
• English fluency; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithmic building blocks from ML and optimization to Generative AI components.
• Maintain and retrain models, monitor data drift, performance, latency and cost (MLOps/LLMOps).
• Evangelize data science and AI concepts to deployment managers.
• Design and run evaluation of AI systems, build benchmarks and document failure modes.
• Contribute to responsible AI through data/prompts traceability and policy alignment.
