Joybuy, JD.com’s dedicated European retail platform, seeks a seasoned Category Manager for the Book segment across Europe, based in Paris. You will define the annual strategy and own execution across sales revenue, gross margin, inventory health, and net profit while coordinating with publishing cycles.

You will analyze consumer trends, negotiate exclusive editions, ensure EU compliance, and partner with supply chain and marketing to tailor assortments and cross-border logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, International Trade, Business Administration, Literature, Publishing, or related field.
• MBA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Define annual and mid‑to‑long‑term strategy for the Book category across Europe and own execution for revenue, margin, inventory, and net profit across multiple countries.
• Lead analysis of consumer trends and pricing tactics in core markets and develop country‑specific assortments.
• Negotiate with publishers to secure exclusive editions and coordinate rights cycles for digital releases.
• Ensure EU publishing laws, pricing rules, and VAT compliance are followed and monitor cross‑border logistics impact.
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and tech to optimize cross‑border logistics, search, and recommendations.
