NTU International is seeking a qualified Non-Key Expert – Transport to support technical assistance across transport infrastructure, mobility and climate-resilient initiatives in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific region.

The expert will contribute to planning, development and coordination of EU-funded projects, with travel to remote areas and collaboration with government bodies, authorities and partners. English language proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably postgraduate, in transport/ civil/ infrastructure related fields.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to draft high-quality documents.
• Strong knowledge of transport sector; relevance to Papua New Guinea and Pacific region.
• Ability to work independently within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally and locally, including to remote areas.

Responsabilités

• Support transport infrastructure planning and development.
• Contribute to roads, bridges, maritime, aviation, and inter-island connectivity projects.
• Assist with project preparation, feasibility studies and asset management.
• Support climate-resilient and low-carbon transport initiatives.
• Engage with government, transport authorities and local communities.
