• Strong written and verbal communication skills for patient, family and physicians.
• Demonstrates EMR navigation and documentation proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates motivational interviewing and teach-back methods.
• Able to respond quickly in emergencies.

Responsabilités

• Proactively assists patients during visits and accompanies them as needed.
• Handles scheduling, imaging, authorizations, and documentation tasks.
• Records patient data (vital signs, history) and maintains accurate records.
• Assists with exam preparation and specimen collection as directed.
• Performs EKGs, dressing changes, and specimen handling as required.
• Administers medications and immunizations under supervision.
• May authorize prescription refills and relay information to pharmacies.
• Maintains infection control and cleans exam rooms between patients.
• Orders and restocks supplies for exam rooms; educates patients as directed.
