Job summary

Orakl Oncology seeks a dynamic Lab Technician to execute large-scale drug screening on our semi-automated platform, handling PDOs for internal and external projects. You will contribute to expanding the biobank with patient-derived materials and help optimize 3D culture and screening processes.

You will maintain rigorous lab documentation, ensure aseptic technique, and collaborate with biology, ML, and research teams in a fast-growing biotech environment.

Qualifications

• BSc (or equivalent) in cellular biology, biotechnology or related field.
• Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and organoid-related work.
• Experience with drug screening assays or viability assessments.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational rigour and teamwork.
• Fluent in English and able to collaborate in an international team.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in commercial contracts by handling PDOs and performing drug screening assays to generate robust datasets.
• Contribute to expanding the Orakl biobank with patient specimens and organoid cell lines.
• Improve automation and accelerate workflows in 3D cell culture and drug screening experiments.
• Maintain laboratory operations, documentation, and traceability, anticipating consumables and reagent needs.
