Job summary

Sword Services Greece in Strasbourg seeks an experienced Operations Support Engineer to maintain and improve complex IT systems across environments. You will resolve incidents and collaborate with DevSecOps, DBAs and architects to ensure secure, stable performance for EU and international clients.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT operations, ITIL familiarity, Linux and container experience, and a proactive, service-minded approach. English fluency preferred; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT operations or application/system support.
• ITIL-aligned processes and change/release-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and configuration-management tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational maintenance and continuity of systems across environments.
• Provide second-level support by analysing incidents, problems and service requests.
• Perform maintenance activities to sustain operability and security baselines.
• Monitor system health with observability tools and coordinate deployments with DevSecOps.
• Collaborate with DBAs, Architects and Operational teams for change control.
• Participate in change and release management and validate deployments.
• Maintain runbooks, knowledge-base articles and support handover activities.
• Provide operational support for middleware, gateways, data transformation and IAM systems.
