Job summary

C12 Quantum Electronics, based in Paris, seeks an Operations & Reliability Manager to lead a growing team and own day-to-day facility operations. You will drive preventive maintenance, monitor performance data, and partner with Production, R&D, and Software to ensure production readiness.

This role requires building a scalable, reliable lab environment for quantum computing hardware. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on operations leadership in high-stakes environments, experience managing

Qualifications

• 6-8 years in operations, maintenance or reliability in a technically demanding environment.
• Experience building preventive-maintenance programs and moving from reactive to preventive.
• Experience owning an operations budget and managing contractors at scale.
• Comfort with facility data layers and KPIs; able to drive software-influenced decisions.
• Understanding facility networks (power, water, HVAC) and cryogenics basics.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and grow the Operations team, covering Run and Build projects.
• Manage and grow technicians across facilities and equipment; set a clear operating rhythm.
• Own the facility operations availability and escalation when issues arise.
• Set and monitor operations KPIs (uptime, downtime, MTBF/MTTR).
• Lead preventive maintenance for cryostats, cleanroom tools, and facility systems.
• Own data layer monitoring dashboards and use data to drive decisions.
• Coordinate with Production, R&D, Qubit Control and Software for service commitments.
