Job description

As a Operations Intern, you will join our Operations team in Paris and work closely with Vivien, our Head of Maintenance.

Your mission will be to help scale our maintenance operations by improving processes, increasing productivity, and supporting data-driven decision-making across our network.

You will combine analytical work, project management, and field execution to identify improvement opportunities, implement solutions, and help standardise best practices across our maintenance sites.

Our fleet currently consists of 15’000 bikes and scooters deployed across 24 cities in Europe. Within the team, you’ll collaborate with our Regional Managers, who oversee maintenance and logistics operations on the ground, our Supply Manager, who handles spare parts, and our Quality and Safety Manager.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Support maintenance performance improvement
  • Help improve, build and maintain maintenance performance dashboards and KPIs.

  • Prepare data and insights for weekly operational reviews with the Maintenance team.

  • Support analysis of productivity, repair lead times, and failure rates across maintenance sites using our BI and data analysis tool Metabase to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.

  • Contribute to turning data into actionable recommendations and support the implementation of improvement actions with local teams.

2. Contribute to continuous improvement projects

  • Visit maintenance sites to observe operations, understand challenges, and identify improvement opportunities with local teams.

  • Work on specific improvement topics, from understanding current processes to supporting the implementation of solutions such as:

  • Workshop organization (5S): mapping work areas, material flows, and storage locations to improve workshop efficiency and standardization.

  • Repair process optimisation: helping design and test a new cleaning and cosmetic touch-up step in the bike repair workflow, including defining the process, sourcing affordable equipment, piloting the solution on one site, and supporting deployment.
