A multinational technology company is seeking an Operations Expert T24 to ensure the smooth running of IT operations for a banking client. The role requires expertise in T24 and Linux, with a strong emphasis on monitoring and troubleshooting scheduled jobs. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of experience and be open to flexible working hours. Benefits include annual leave and access to training platforms.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience with T24.
• Willingness to work flexible hours/shifts/weekends.
• Good command of English required for international collaboration.
• Ability to write technical support documentation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, or weekends.
• Spanish language is a plus; strong English (C1) required for international teams.
• Knowledge of JBoss and Oracle is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Ensure smooth running of jobs and interfaces.
• Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs.
• Produce IT reporting (KPIs) to IT Management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs and KPIs for IT management.
• Automate tasks where possible and provide first-line investigation.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Operations Expert T24, working close to one of our main clients in banking sector.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

• As a member of the IT Core Operations team, ensure smooth running of jobs and interfaces, e.g. applications or databases.


• Responsibilities include monitoring, start and stop of jobs, queues, processes and perform deployments.


• Ensure smooth running of processes and interfaces


• Execute and supervise the close of business


• Maintaining production and test environments


• Deployment of artefacts in Production and test environments


• Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs


• Automate tasks where ever possible


• Resolves and closes incidents /service requests from Global IT-Service Desk as per procedures & allocated timelines


• Provides first-line investigation and diagnosis


• Escalates unresolved incidents/service requests within agreed timescales


• Complete daily and periodic checklists


• Produce IT reporting (KPIs) to IT Management

What UST expects from you?

• At least 5 years experience with T24


• Strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting


• Knowledge of Transact (T24), Automic (UC4)


• Ability to write technical support documentation


• Willingness to work flexible hours/Shifts/weekends when needed


• Spanish is a big plus


• Knowledge of jBoss and oracle will be considered as an advantage


• Good english level (C1) you will be working with international teams.

Hybrid. Madrid city center (Sol area). 3 days a week in the office.

Business Hours. No intensive working days for friday or summer.
