SEIDOR in Paris is seeking a Senior Systems & Middleware Engineer to lead Linux/Windows server administration and middleware platforms. You will manage complex environments, coordinate with vendors, and drive uptime across development, testing, and production.

• Experience with operating-system patching and lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting virtualized environments and infrastructure components.
• Strong middleware administration, maintenance and upgrade experience.
• Experience with Microsoft IIS and Apache HTTP Server.
• Experience with JBoss application servers.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework/.NET.
• Experience with Java Runtime Environment.
• Experience with reverse proxies and web application platforms.
• Experience with application integration components.
• Experience with scheduling and batch-processing platforms.
• Experience with web services and API platforms.
• Experience installing, configuring, testing and validating application releases and upgrades.
• Experience managing Development, Test, UAT and Production environments.
• Ability to monitor and optimize platform performance.
• Experience coordinating technical activities with vendors and service providers.
• Experience supporting corporate applications, such as HR, finance, collaboration, document-management and web applications.
• Professional proficiency in English and French.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

Systems Administration

• Maintain and support enterprise Linux and Windows Server environments.


• Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of systems hosting business applications.


• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex technical incidents.


• Manage operating system patching and lifecycle activities.


• Support virtualized environments and associated infrastructure components.

Middleware Administration

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade middleware platforms, including but not limited to Microsoft IIS, Apache HTTP Server, JBoss, Microsoft .NET Framework / .NET, Java Runtime Environment, reverse proxy and web application platforms, application integration components, scheduling and batch processing platforms, web services and API platforms.


• Provide technical support and platform administration for the Bank's applications, including collaboration, HR, finance, document management, web, and corporate business applications.


• Install and configure new application releases and technically validate vendor-provided upgrades.


• Monitor and optimize platform performance.


• Manage environments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production.


• Coordinate with vendors during maintenance activities.
