Backroads in Cesky Krumlov, Czechia, seeks an Operations Coordinator to oversee van fleet maintenance, equipment loading, and logistics while blending administrative duties with hands-on tasks to support trip execution.

You will negotiate leases, manage the fleet, supervise preloading, coordinate seasonal maintenance, and work with field staff to resolve issues, with warehouse operations and forklift duties contributing to smooth departures and arrivals.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
• Strong command of English; knowledge of Czech is a plus.
• Experience driving vans and maneuvering trailers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (approx. 23 kg).
• Clean driving record.
• Warehouse or operations experience is a plus.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Negotiate van lease contracts, managing onboard and restitution.
• Maintain van fleet, ensuring proper stocking and servicing.
• Supervise van preloading and inventory quality.
• Oversee service schedules and minor maintenance issues.
• Coordinate seasonal projects such as mid-season maintenance, winter bike overhaul, and end-of-season maintenance.
• Communicate with field staff to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Manage warehouse operations, including receiving/sending packages, forklift operation, and inventory checks.
• Assist with van arrivals/departures, scheduling, shipping logistics, ATA carnets, and transportation of equipment and bikes.

Operations Coordinator will oversee van fleet maintenance, equipment loading, and logistical operations. Must blend administrative responsibilities with hands‑on tasks while supporting Backroads trip execution.
