WMSS Onsite Program Support is an entry-level, non-supervisory role focused on hazardous and non-hazardous waste projects. The position involves manual labor such as drum movements, bulking, crushing, and labeling waste within the facility, with safety as a priority.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to pass a respirator FIT test, and eligibility to obtain a 40-HR HAZWOPER Certification within 30 days. Pre-employment drug/alcohol testing may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to pass a respirator FIT test (clean shaven).
• Ability to obtain a 40-HR HAZWOPER Certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Manual labor with drum movements, bulking, crushing, and handling waste within the facility.
• Identify best practices to reduce waste volumes and improve efficiency.
• Segregate, label, and package waste materials safely and compliantly.
• Collect, transfer, consolidate, and repackage solid, liquid, and sludge materials.
• Perform labor-intensive tasks such as container or drum collection and loading of trucks.
• Provide safety-focused labor support at the 90 Day Hazardous Waste Pad when needed.
