Veolia in North America is seeking a Lead Environmental Technician to perform routine hazardous and non-hazardous waste tasks, operate equipment, follow procedures, and ensure safe, compliant processing in the designated area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of hazardous material handling, and one year of heavy equipment operation. Candidates must work in loud, hot, cold, wet and dry environments and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum two year hazardous material processing and/or handling.
• Minimum one year heavy equipment operation.

Responsabilités

• Manage assigned area while maintaining operation efficiencies.
• Interface with other Lead Material Handlers to achieve team goals.
• Resolves remedial work orders or other environmental concerns and completes closure requirements.
• Responds to spills as required.
