Job summary

Veolia is seeking a warehouse worker to support hazardous materials handling and waste processing in a North American operation. The role involves paperwork, material sampling, unloading inbound loads, and safe operation of forklifts and loaders.

Experience with hazardous materials is required; the job includes outdoor and indoor work in varying conditions, and use of PPE. Training and benefits are provided as part of the comprehensive program.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with hazardous materials
• Forklift and pallet jack operation
• Ability to read labels and documentation

Responsibilities

• Complete required paperwork per practices and procedures
• Collect samples of inbound waste for compatibility
• Unload bulk liquid trucks to proper tank
• Operate hi-lo and end loaders safely
• Knowledge of waste streams and treatment protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
