Job summary

Energy Jobline ATTB is seeking a Bridge Construction Inspector for a contract role in Metairie, LA. You will perform daily inspections of bridge construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards on a major bridge replacement project.

Responsibilities include visual inspections of earthwork, asphalt, and structural components, reviewing drawings, and maintaining thorough inspection records.

Qualifications

• Experience performing inspection and quality control on construction projects, preferably bridge or heavy civil work.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of safety practices and regulations for construction and bridge inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of bridge construction activities to verify compliance with plans, specs, and standards.
• Conduct visual inspections of earthwork, asphalt, structural components, and bridge elements.
• Monitor and document quality control procedures, including materials and workmanship.
• Review and interpret blueprints to confirm work progresses per design requirements.
• Identify deficiencies, non-conformances, or safety concerns observed during inspections.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain detailed site records.
