Job summary

Projecttech Algerie is seeking a Bridge Works Engineer to oversee construction supervision on bridge structures in Guadeloupe. The role involves technical monitoring, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring quality, safety, cost and schedule adherence.

The candidate should have a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, proven MOE experience on bridges, and strong site supervision know‑how, with local Guadeloupe presence preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Construction Supervision (MOE) on bridge projects.
• Ability to independently supervise bridge, viaduct or other bridge works.
• Good knowledge of site supervision procedures and applicable regulations.
• Local presence in Guadeloupe is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the execution monitoring of works on bridge structures.
• Verify the compliance of the completed works with the studies, contracts, and technical specifications.
• Monitor the progress of the works and compliance with the schedule.
• Identify technical deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Carry out site supervision duties as the representative of the project management team.
• Participate in site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Coordinate the contractors and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor the quality of the completed structures.
• Follow up on testing, inspections, and acceptance operations.
• Participate in clearance of punch list items and follow-up of non-conformities.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules on the construction site.
• Produce progress reports for the project management.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and quality performance indicators.
• Anticipate risks and raise alerts in case of deviations.
• Contribute to coordination between design and construction teams.
