Covenant Health Oncology Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide professional clinical care in a busy outpatient oncology setting. You will work under the supervision of the attending provider and practice office manager, assisting with examinations, procedures, and patient education.

Responsibilities include vitals, phlebotomy, injections, medication administration, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Medical Assistant from a recognized certifying organization.
• American Heart Association BLS required.

Responsabilités

• Provides professional clinical care to patients in an outpatient clinical setting.
• Assists provider with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments, including phlebotomy, injections, suturing, and other office procedures.
• Administers medications per provider order and policy, with proper dosage, route and documentation.
• Collaborates with the care team and ensures timely documentation in the medical record.
