Job summary

A&O IT Group is seeking an On-Site AV Support Technician to oversee, maintain and troubleshoot corporate office AV systems. You will be the primary technical contact for hybrid meeting rooms, events, and day-to-day collaboration technology across the office.

You will ensure seamless audio, video, and presentation experiences, provide real-time support during critical meetings, and help staff become proficient with meeting room technology while also coordinating with IT and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience with video conferencing platforms and room systems.
• Familiarity with hybrid meeting room workflows and UC setup.
• Knowledge of AV control systems and signal routing.
• Experience with displays, projection, and signage.
• Basic networking concepts applied to AV hardware.
• Understanding of HDMI/USB-C/DisplayPort cabling standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-meeting checks and live support for meetings and events.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues quickly.
• Perform routine room sweeps to verify equipment and cabling.
• Configure and manage unified communications and display feeds.
• Track assets and liaise with vendors/IT for replacements.
• Help employees use meeting room tech and create simple guides.
