Abyss Energy is seeking an experienced Project HSE Engineer to drive Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across offshore projects. You will work autonomously under the Project/Line Manager while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and environmentally responsible execution.

The role requires offshore HSE certifications, ISO 14001 knowledge, and strong risk assessment capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HSE or related discipline.
• Formal training in Occupational Health & Safety Management.
• Certified or trained in ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
• Training in risk assessment methodologies (HAZID, HAZOP, Job Safety Analysis).
• Offshore safety training including BOSIET.
• Emergency response and first aid training.
• Proficiency in MS Office and written communication.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and procedures.
• Monitor and enforce offshore regs compliance.
• Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 environmental management standards.
• Prepare HSE documentation, reports and performance indicators.
• Participate in risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Interface with project teams, contractors, and management to promote HSE culture.
