Abyss Energy is seeking a structural engineer with proven offshore subsea experience to perform autonomous design and calculations under the Project Lead. You will design subsea structures such as FLETs, manifolds, suction piles, and mudmats, using ABAQUS and SACS, and review drawings with drafting teams.
Fluent English is mandatory; French knowledge is a plus. The role emphasizes autonomy, problem-solving, and proactive technical solution proposals across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- French working knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong experience with ABAQUS 2D shell and 3D solids.
- Experience with SACS beam software and hand calculations.
- Proven offshore/subsea structural engineering experience.
- Full autonomy in design and calculations.
- Ability to propose technical solutions to the Project Lead.
- Experience reviewing drawings with drafting teams.
