Vulcain Engineering Group in Paris area is seeking an Offshore Installation Analysis Engineer to contribute to the installation of offshore pipelines and subsea structures.

You will develop numerical models, perform load calculations, and support offshore operations, with Python scripting to automate post-processing. Proficiency in OrcaFlex and a strong background in offshore engineering are required. Fluency in English; French is a plus. Start ASAP; full-time role based in Paris area.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or Master’s in offshore related field.
• Experience with offshore installation projects and pipelines.
• Proven ability to develop and run numerical models for offshore structures.
• Proficiency in OrcaFlex or similar dynamic simulation tools.
• Strong Python scripting for data processing and automation.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop installation models and sequences for offshore pipelines and subsea structures using specialized simulation tools.
• Perform static and dynamic load calculations on pipelines and subsea installation structures.
• Analyze installation scenarios to assess structural integrity during offshore operations.
• Determine operational weather windows and process metocean data for vessel loads.
• Provide engineering recommendations for safe offshore installation operations.
• Develop Python scripts to automate post-processing tasks and workflows.
• Prepare technical reports and address client comments on deliverables.
• Participate in offshore installation campaigns and provide support on vessels when required.
