SBM Offshore is seeking a Construction Quality Dimensional Control Inspector to ensure dimensional accuracy of FPSO components and assemblies, working with project engineering, quality and construction teams to maintain tolerances throughout the build.

You will document inspection results, manage NCRs, and coordinate corrective actions, ensuring compliance with ASME, API and ISO standards while supporting QA processes and reporting to the Construction Quality Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven offshore dimensional control inspection experience on FPSO or large offshore projects.
• Proficient with laser trackers, total stations and 3D scanners for precise measurements.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances and fabrication processes.

Responsabilités

• Inspect dimensional accuracy of fabricated FPSO components and assemblies.
• Maintain inspection records, NCRs and communicate deviations promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure designs are achievable within tolerances.
• Document deviations and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee alignment and fit-up during installation and assembly stages.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO standards and project specs.
• Support QA processes and report status to Construction Quality Manager.
