Westinghouse Electric Company in Chaponnay, France, is seeking an Operations Manager – Welding & Mechanics Solutions to lead service delivery from the Chaponnay workshop and at operating nuclear power plants. The role reports to the site leadership and requires strong engineering background.

You will establish robust plans for safe, flawless service execution, develop a strong talent pipeline, and deliver sustainable business results for both the Chaponnay facility and customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in engineering, MBA, or advanced technical degree preferred.
• At least five years of leadership experience.
• At least five years in workshop operations, field services, or similar operational environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and change management skills.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken French and English.

Responsabilités

• Lead service delivery from Chaponnay workshop and at customer sites.
• Establish safety and service quality initiatives.
• Drive flawless execution with reliability and schedule adherence.
• Develop talent pipelines and training plans aligned with needs.
• Support proposals and pursue new business opportunities.
• Promote cross-collaboration across the platform.
• Define and improve operating model for financial performance.
• Monitor market demand and optimize crew utilization.
• Lead standardization of processes and methodologies.
• Develop tools to improve service preparation and real-time monitoring.
• Position Westinghouse as a preferred customer partner.
