Institut Imagine in Paris is seeking a laboratory technician for a 12-month project on the gut-brain axis in Parkinson's disease, combining iPSC cultures with microfluidics. The role offers hands-on training and exposure to organoid and neuronal culture techniques, under Dr Michela Deleidi's supervision.

The ideal candidate will have strong cell biology experience, be comfortable with immunostaining and microscopy, and be fluent in English; French language knowledge is an advantage.

Qualifications

• BTS, BUT/DUT, licence professionnelle or equivalent technical qualification in cell biology/biotechnology.
• Strong neuroscience or cell biology background.
• Experience with cell culture; iPSC differentiation a plus.
• Willingness to learn PDMS-chip fabrication and handling.
• Experience with organoids, microfluidics, immunostaining or fluorescence microscopy is welcome.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support for microfluidic chip projects.
• Maintain human iPSC and organoid cultures, including medium changes, passaging, cryopreservation and quality checks.
• Support established differentiation and culture protocols for iPSC-derived tissues.
• Operate PDMS-based microfluidic chips.
• Assist with immunofluorescence staining, sample collection and microscopy.
• Maintain records, assist with reagent prep, stock management and lab organization.
