Job summary

Institut Imagine in Paris is seeking a laboratory technician for a 12-month project on the gut-brain axis in Parkinson’s disease, combining iPSC cultures with microfluidics. The role provides technical support for microfluidic chip projects and requires experience in cell culture and iPSC handling.

You will work under the Mechanisms and Therapy of Genetic Brain Diseases team, participate in maintaining cultures, assist with differentiation protocols, immunostaining and imaging, and help keep

Qualifications

• BTS/ BUT/DUT or equivalent in cell biology or related field.
• Strong neuroscience or cell biology background.
• Prior experience with cell culture and iPSC differentiation.
• Familiarity with PDMS microfluidic chips and immunostaining is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain human iPSC and organoid cultures with quality checks.
• Support differentiation protocols for iPSC-derived tissues.
• Operate PDMS-based microfluidic chips.
• Assist with treatments, sample collection, and fluorescence imaging.
• Keep records and manage reagents and lab organisation.
