Ubisoft in Paris is seeking a Network Administrator to join our infrastructure team. You will install and maintain network gear, deploy private links, and drive automation to improve operational efficiency across global networks.

The role requires expert routing (BGP/OSPF), advanced switching (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, L2/L3), and strong Linux/CI/CD automation with Python and Ansible.Office in Saint-Mande with onsite collaboration.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Network Administrator.
• Expert level in routing technologies (BGP/OSPF).
• Expert level in switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, VTP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols).
• Strong Linux knowledge and automation skills with Python and Ansible.

Job Description

The infrastructure department of our global network team is seeking a Network Administrator who can bring their expertise to life in our dynamic team of gaming & tech enthusiasts.

As Network Administrator, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining IT solutions and services as well as proposing improvements and optimisations to the current infrastructure. As a senior administrator, you will also be responsible to solve complex issues brought to us by our partners.

Mission

Key tasks related to the mission include:

• Install and maintain various network equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers.
• Deploy and maintain private network links and dedicated peering.
• Assist in evaluating new requirements, technical design and standards.
• Participate in the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices and metrics as directed.
• Drive adoption of automation to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure and services.
• Enforce network security policies and procedures.
• Perform proactive network capacity management activities.
• Maintain documentation regarding network hardware and software.
• Answer user’s query and service requests.

Tasks

• Act as a mentor and point of reference within the team, particularly with new administrators.
• Contribute to the planning of the evolution and expansion of the network & systems.
• Optimize network performance.
• Carry out all other related tasks.

Qualifications

Relevant experience

• Extensive experience as a Network Administrator
• Expert level in routing technologies such as BGP and OSPF
• Expert level in switching technologies such as VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, VTP, and Layer 2/Layer 3 switching protocols
• Expert level in developing techniques and methodologies to resolve unprecedented problems or situations

Nice to have

• Good Linux environment knowledge
• Strong expertise in automation using Python and Ansible, with hands‑on experience in CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of other infrastructure concepts like Cloud Network knowledge (AWS, Azure)

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Ability to make complex information accessible and understandable
• Demonstrates critical thinking and proactively flags governance or prioritization concerns to maintain operational clarity and focus
• Honesty, integrity and confidentiality must be always maintained
