The Pacific Community (SPC) in Noumea seeks a Nature-based Solutions Mainstreaming Advisor to embed NbS across SPC programs and partnerships, addressing climate change through strategic leadership. The role leads NbS strategy development, coordination, and donor engagement to expand SPC’s NbS services.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in climate and development, strong leadership, and proven ability to work across diverse teams, donors, and regions to deliver measurable NbS outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Natural Resource Management or related field is required.
• At least 10 years in international development and climate change contexts.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Mainstream NbS across SPC activities and partners.
• Develop operational plans and lifelong learning strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for NbS initiatives.
• Engage donors and partners to secure resources for NbS.
• Coordinate with divisions to implement monitoring and evaluation.
