Pacific Community (SPC) seeks a Nature-based Solutions Mainstreaming Advisor in Nouméa to lead NbS integration across divisions, guide strategy, and oversee programmatic delivery. You will collaborate with technical divisions, planning and learning, and fundraising teams to advance NbS initiatives and ensure high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Natural Resource Management, Ecology, Environment, Conservation, Sustainable Development, Monitoring and Evaluation or related fields.
• At least 10 years of international development and climate change experience.
• 5+ years in medium-large, complex climate change projects; 2+ years people management.
• Strong leadership, policy networks and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in NbS strategy design and implementation.

Responsabilités

• Develop NbS organisational strategy and operational pillars.
• Create and manage yearly workplans to mainstream NbS across SPC portfolios.
• Provide technical oversight and QA for NbS initiatives, trainings and briefs.
• Lead portfolio development and liaison with donors and partners.
• Coordinate reporting for NbS projects (Kiwa Initiative, PPIN) and CCES results.
