Job summary

C12 in Paris is seeking a senior nanofabrication leader to head the nano-assembly team of 3 research engineers. You will develop and operate our nano-assembly setups for transferring ultra-pure carbon nanotubes onto quantum processor microchips.

You will drive process improvements, collaborate with software, analyze data, and communicate findings in English while advancing a world-class quantum platform in a fast-growing, international team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in R&D or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science or related field.
• Experience in managing R&D engineers and organizing their work.
• Some project management experience.
• Experience in hardware and experimental setup design and fabrication.
• Experience in Python for hardware control and data analysis.
• Good communication in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement of nano-assembly vacuum setups for increased throughput and yield.
• Design and validation of mechanical, electrical and chemical processes to optimize the quality of the assembled qubits.
• Work with the software team to improve our stack for control software, data storage and data analysis.
• Analyze, summarize and present data.
