IXO is seeking specialists to evaluate demanding engineering challenges authored by experienced technical problem authors. Your contribution is technical work: make the reasoning inspectable, identify substantive errors and provide evidence that supports a reliable assessment.

Deliverables include a completed technical artifact with supporting evidence, explicit assumptions, reproducible checks where applicable, and concise reasons for each material judgment.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years for aero, electrical/circuit or mechanical specialties; or five+ years for CAD/design.
• Five+ hands-on technical years with rigorous problem setting through exams, textbooks, competitions or standards work; publications, patents or awards are a plus.
• Professional English and CAD/CFD/FEA/EDA or lab tools are expected.

IXO is engaging specialists to evaluate demanding engineering challenges written by experienced technical problem authors. Your contribution is technical work: make the reasoning inspectable, identify substantive errors and provide evidence that supports a reliable assessment.

Work you will do

• Design problems in your specialty that require practical judgment as well as theoretical knowledge.
• Review and resolve ambiguous conditions, define a defensible solution and set clear evaluation criteria.
• Assess model responses for scientific or engineering validity and document the assumptions, tools and evidence behind the judgment.

Preferred background

• A relevant engineering master's/doctorate or substantial professional experience: eight or more years for aero, electrical/circuit or mechanical specialties, or five for CAD/design.
• At least five hands-on technical years and evidence of rigorous problem setting through examinations, textbooks, competitions or standards work; recognized publications, patents, awards or equivalent technical achievements.
• Professional English and the CAD, CFD/FEA, EDA or laboratory tools appropriate to your specialty.

Deliverables

Submit the completed technical artifact or assessment with its supporting evidence, explicit assumptions, reproducible checks where applicable, and concise reasons for each material judgment. Address review findings within the agreed scope.

Location and schedule

Remote assignments are scheduled by agreement, with no guaranteed weekly volume. IXO confirms the applicable timing before work.
