Job summary

Magellan is a leading international Management and Technology Consulting Group, seeking a Modern Desktop Architect to take ownership of Microsoft-driven workstation projects. You will run workshops, deploy and validate desktop solutions, and guide clients through transformation journeys with autonomy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in workstation management across on-premise and cloud environments.
• In-depth knowledge of SCCM/Current Branch, Intune, Azure AD and related Microsoft technologies.
• Strong communication, adaptability, autonomy, and team spirit; one or more Microsoft certifications would be a plus; English proficiency required.

Job Description

The transformation of work environments (workstations, mobile devices, modern device management) requires specific expertise on Microsoft solutions. This role is aimed at a confirmed Modern Desktop Architect, autonomous in project ownership and the facilitation of technical workshops.

As a Modern Desktop Architect (M/F), you bring your expertise on Microsoft technologies and progress through the phases of our IT projects, within a framework that leaves significant room for initiative and personal development.

• Audit the existing environment and assess client needs
• Facilitate technical specification workshops
• Deploy solutions within the client's environment
• Carry out technical and functional UAT
• Maintain a technology watch and propose areas for improvement

Qualifications

• With a Master's degree (Bac+4/5) ideally in engineering, you have at least 5 years of technical experience on projects related to Workstation management in on-premise and Cloud environments.
• You have advanced knowledge in the following areas: SCCM/Current Branch, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, CMG, Co-Management, Windows 365, Microsoft Intune, RBAC, Master image creation, WaaS, WMI, Report Builder, Scripting (PS1), Active Directory, GPO, Packaging (MSI).
• You master one or more Microsoft technologies overall, particularly: WSUS, BitLocker, Autopilot, Azure AD, PowerShell, Defender for Endpoint, Intune MAM/MDM.
• You have good interpersonal skills, strong adaptability, and are autonomous. You are comfortable working in a team. A strong communicator, you also have a service orientation and team spirit.
• One or more Microsoft certifications or an MVP title would be a plus.
• You have a good command of English.
• Experience: minimum 5 years.
