Dailymotion is building the next big social app, and we need a technical leader to scale a high-velocity mobile team. You’ll manage 3 Android engineers, 3 iOS engineers, and collaborate with 3 Python backend developers, QA, Design, and Product to deliver experiences used by millions of users.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building and scaling high-traffic consumer apps
• Startup/scale-up DNA with fast iteration and ambiguity handling
• Proven experience leading mobile teams in product-driven environments
• Still technically hands-on: code, review architecture, challenge engineers on performance and trade-offs
• Strong product and business mindset focused on user impact, retention, and engagement
• Data-driven leadership based on metrics and outcomes
• Strong communication across Product, Design, QA, and Backend
• Fluent in English; French a plus

• Own delivery of the product vision from technical strategy to day-to-day execution
• Make key technical decisions balancing innovation, velocity and tech debt
• Lead, mentor, and grow mobile engineering team with extreme ownership
• Stay hands-on: review code and set the technical bar
• Set clear performance objectives aligned with business goals
• Continuously improve workflows, tooling, processes and culture
• Drive AI integration opportunities to enhance user experience
• Scale the team as the product grows to a world-class mobile org
