Job summary

Illingworth Research Group is seeking a Per Diem Freelance Research Nurse in Toulouse, France. The role focuses on coordinating patient visits, data collection, and adherence to GCP standards within clinical trials.

The nurse will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, ensure accurate documentation, and support patient recruitment and safety reporting (AEs/SAEs/SUSARs). Prior trial experience and proficiency with standard MS Office tools are required.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
• GCP certification and clinical trials experience.
• Knowledge of venipuncture and ECG procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with trial protocol, CRFs/eCRF, SOPs and trial timelines to enable day-to-day running of the trial.
• Coordinate with RN team, site staff and PI to ensure smooth information flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data transfer per SOPs while ensuring confidentiality.
• Attend Site Initiation Visits and client-facing meetings as required.
• Coordinate and complete subject visits on- and off-site, per protocol.
• Administer trial medication and manage storage and accountability per SOPs.
• Process, package and dispatch samples with courier coordination.
• Identify eligible patients and assist recruitment for trials.
• Report adverse events (AEs/SAEs/SUSARs) to the RNPM and site.
• Report misconduct or fraud as per company policy.
