Dalma is a fast growing pet health insurer for dogs and cats in Europe. We are building out our Insurance team and hiring a Machine Learning Lead to own the advanced modeling layer.

You will operate at the intersection of data, product and insurance, with direct impact on growth and retention of our portfolio across France and Germany. You will join the Insurance team and report directly to our Chief Insurance Officer (CIO).

Qualifications

• At least three years in ML/Data science with end-to-end model ownership.
• Insurance preferred, but fintech/retail/telecom related sectors are relevant.
• Strong statistical modeling and ML skills (logistic regression, survival, clustering).
• Proficient in Python; R a plus; fluent SQL; comfortable with BI tools.
• Strong business sense and ability to translate models into decisions.
• Excellent communication to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Build and productionize pricing and elasticity models at Dalma.
• Progressively extend scope to churn prediction, claims prioritization, fraud detection.
• Own monitoring and retraining of models in production.
• Collaborate with Product & Tech for model integration.
• Make complex quantitative topics accessible to non-technical audiences.
