Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking in Paris is seeking a Middle Office Commodity Trade Finance Manager. You will monitor risk and collateral for an international trading portfolio, analyze funding requests with the project manager, and maintain direct contact with clients across borders.

Responsibilities include validating financing instruments (short-term currency advances, overdrafts, documentary or standby credits, guarantees) and continuously monitoring exposures with hedging

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Middle Office Trade Finance and/or Commodities.
• Strong knowledge of finance and international trade concepts.
• Proficient with Office Pack and financial tools (Macro, VBA); familiarity with AI tools and automation.

Job Description

Within the Chief Operating Office CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking), you will join the Commodity Trade Finance Operations team.

On a daily basis, your tasks are to:

• Monitor the risk and collateral of operations for a portfolio of clients specialized in international commodity trading;
• Analyze and authorize or refuse funding requests submitted by clients in collaboration with the project manager;
• Maintain direct contact with international customers;
• Validate the implementation of financing (products used: short-term currency advances, overdrafts, issuance of documentary or stand-by credits, issuance of guarantees on first demand) in collaboration with Back Offices services;
• Ensure continuous monitoring of the risk and collateral related to these financings (documentary collateral and analysis of exposures according to changes in overnight market prices or via forward hedging instruments).

As a Middle Office Commodity Trade Finance Manager, you participate in the implementation of internal reporting tools on operations and the daily updating of data.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen; you are:

You are proficient in English with a C1 level.
