ADLIB is seeking a Microbiology Technician to join our innovative biotechnology team. You will support strain development and screening programmes through microbiology, molecular biology and analytical workflows in a hands‑on laboratory role.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary R&D team, perform aseptic culture work, maintain traceability of samples and contribute to routine laboratory workflows while adhering to SOPs and high quality standards.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related field.
Practical lab experience in microbiology through industry, internships or research.
Strong understanding of microbiological techniques and aseptic practices.
Experience handling microbial cultures and executing lab protocols accurately.
Excellent data recording and labelling discipline.
Ability to manage multiple experiments with attention to detail.
Good data communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards.

Responsabilités

Perform microbial culture, inoculation, plating and restreaking using aseptic techniques.
Run screening campaigns with shake-flask cultures and plate-based workflows.
Maintain and track microbial cultures and samples with traceability.
Support molecular biology workflows including transformations and colony picking.
Conduct routine measurements such as optical density and plate-reader assays.
Assist with sample preparation and analytical workflows as required.
Keep accurate lab records and timely documentation of experiments.
Follow SOPs and quality standards; collaborate with R&D teams.
