Northern Montana Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to support healthcare teams in our clinic. You will assist the Medical Provider and nursing staff in delivering patient care, ensuring comfort, confidentiality, and efficient service.

Knowledge of patient ages and insurance basics is helpful. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong English communication, and a willingness to obtain BLS within six months.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• At least one year in a health-care environment preferred.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

About the role

The Medical Assistant, under supervision of Clinic Director is responsible for assistance to the Medical Provider and nursing staff in the delivery of of medical care, assistance to the patient in compliance with and understanding of that care, and assistance in running an efficient and professional practice. The Medical Assistant will have knowledge relative to the ages of patients served.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Sufficient education to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, in a professional manner.
• One year experience in health care field/environment preferred.
• Obtain Basic Life Support(BLS) Certification within six (6) months of hire.
• Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

Salary is commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
