Zusammenfassung

L'Oréal Finance & Legal seeks a Legal Counsel (CDD) in France to advise on intellectual property, advertising, and consumer protection law. You will support France-based DMIs on contracts, rights clearances, and regulatory matters, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, fluency in English, and a strong academic background in law. Partial remote work may be available within a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Expertise in intellectual property law, advertising/marketing law, and consumer protection law, as in-house legal counsel or in a law firm.
• Solid academic background in law (preferably in intellectual property law), with the ability to apply your knowledge practically and pragmatically.
• Analytical, writing, and summarizing skills, combined with a proactive mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, resolve issues quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Fluent in English.

Aufgaben

• Draft and negotiate marketing services contracts with a wide range of suppliers such as advertising agencies, digital creative agencies, production agencies.
• Negotiate and secure third-party rights for advertising campaigns (ambassadors, models, photographers, music etc.).
• Support the Art Buying/Business Affairs internal teams for models and photographers' rights: drafting contract templates, teams training, and assistance with contract negotiation and formalization.
• Draft and negotiate collaborations, partnerships, or sponsorships agreements.
• Handle disputes with competitors and third parties regarding communication materials.
• Contribute to the implementation or revision of the Group's standard contractual documentation, and guidelines, participate in the animation of our legal community, and in training programs for business teams.
