Job summary

L’Oréal Finance & Legal in Île-de-France seeks a Legal Counsel (CDD) to advise France-based DMIs on copyright, image rights, advertising and marketing law. You will draft and negotiate marketing services contracts, secure rights for campaigns, and support internal teams on models and photographers’ rights.

Requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong IP/advertising law background, fluent English, and a pragmatic, proactive approach.

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience in IP/advertising law.
Expertise in IP, advertising/marketing, and consumer protection law.
Strong academic background in law (IP preferred).
Analytical, writing, and summarizing skills with attention to detail.
Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Draft and negotiate marketing services contracts with a wide range of suppliers (advertising agencies, digital creative agencies, production agencies).
Negotiate and secure third-party rights for advertising campaigns (ambassadors, models, photographers, music, etc.).
Support Art Buying/Business Affairs for models and photographers’ rights: drafting templates, training, and negotiations.
Draft and negotiate collaborations, partnerships, or sponsorships agreements.
Handle disputes with competitors and third parties regarding communication materials.
Contribute to the implementation or revision of the Group's standard contractual documentation and guidelines, and participate in training programs for business teams.
