Harmattan AI is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to design hardware and software powering automated testing and inspection platforms. You will focus on mechanical development for test automation while collaborating on software and electrical integration within R&D.

Responsibilities include designing test fixtures, integrating sensors and actuators, and coordinating with external vendors to source RF housings and test equipment. A strong CAD background and PCBAs familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• MSc in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Excellent CAD skills with rapid prototyping experience.
• Experience with external vendors and machine shops for parts.
• Soldering, wiring and small-scale electrical work for test systems.
• Experience with PCBAs; pogo-pin fixtures is a plus.
• Knowledge of RF housing design is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Test Fixture Development – design, prototype, and maintain fixtures and tooling.
• Mechanical Integration – integrate sensors, actuators, cameras into test stations.
• ATE Integration – specify and integrate equipment from vendors for testing.
• Cross-Team Collaboration – work with product, manufacturing, and deployment teams.
