Synergy Partners Consulting Limited in Île-de-France is seeking a Mechanical Designer to establish design standards, prepare and modify construction drawings, and coordinate with clients and sub-consultants. You will translate concepts into ready-for-construction plans and support site information gathering.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and at least two years of design experience, with AutoCAD and Bluebeam proficiency to ensure accurate, clear technical outputs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years mechanical design experience in residential/commercial projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings.

Responsabilités

THE OPPORTUNITY

You Will

• Establish and develop standards for mechanical drawing submissions, including project setup, line weights, layers, text size, dimension styles, blocks, gridlines, backgrounds, symbols, legends, printing layouts, and plot styles.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and sub-consultants.
• Develop concepts, perform calculation and select equipment based on calculation findings , supplier recommendations, and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and internal teams to ensure proper integration of mechanical equipment and system requirements.
• Produce and/or modify mechanical drawings to transform concepts and markups into ready-for-construction plans and schematics.
• Conduct site visits and accurately capture information, including notes, sketches, and photographs, to support the project team.
• Present and communicate technical information clearly, concisely, and effectively.

You Have

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent is a requirement.
• Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical design, preferably in residential and commercial projects.
• P.Eng designation or working towards it an asset (if applicable).
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering systems and technical terms, with the ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering codes, standards, and common construction practices.
• Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Strong technical writing skills with attention to grammar and clarity.
• Highly organized with strong time-management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to detail.

• Competitive salary of $75,000 to $90,000 annually plus profit sharing.
