INOCEL, a French hydrogen energy company, seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to engineer the Power Conversion Unit for next‑generation fuel cell systems. You will develop mechanical architecture, create 3D CAD models, BOMs, and ensure robust integration with electrical and thermal subsystems.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with manufacturing and QA, applying DFM/ DFA principles, from concept to industrialization. Fluent English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience designing complex industrial or electromechanical systems.
• Experience with stationary power generation, gensets, or energy systems is desirable.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
• Experience with multidisciplinary product development environment.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop the mechanical architecture of the Power Conversion Unit throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Create 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Design structural components, sheet metal assemblies, enclosures, cooling systems, mounting structures, cable management, and mechanical interfaces.
• Ensure seamless mechanical integration with electrical, thermal, and control subsystems.
• Perform mechanical calculations, tolerance stack‑up analyses, and support simulations (FEA).
• Prepare technical specifications, participate in design reviews, and support DFMEA activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers on component development, validation, and manufacturability.
• Support prototype assembly, testing, root‑cause analysis, and design improvements.
