INOCEL, a French company designing modular hydrogen generators, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer W/M to join the R&D team. You will develop the Power Conversion Unit for next‑generation fuel cell systems.

You will create 3D CAD models, BOMs, and documentation, and ensure mechanical interfaces and integration with electrical and thermal subsystems. Collaborating with suppliers and cross‑functional teams, you will drive manufacturability, cost‑effectiveness, and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in mechanical design of complex systems.
• Experience in stationary power generation or gensets is highly desirable.
• Hydrogen/fuel cell experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop the mechanical architecture of the Power Conversion Unit throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Create 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Design structural components, sheet metal assemblies, enclosures, cooling systems, mounting structures, cable management, and interfaces.
• Ensure seamless mechanical integration with electrical, thermal, and control subsystems.
• Perform mechanical calculations, tolerance analyses, and support simulations (FEA).
• Prepare technical specifications, participate in design reviews, and support DFMEA activities.
• Collaborate with suppliers on component development and manufacturability.
• Support prototype assembly, testing, and implementation of design improvements.
• Apply DFM and DFA principles to optimize quality and cost.
