L-Acoustics Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative products from concept to prototype, reporting to the Head of Development, Mechanical Engineering.

You will design and develop mechanical components and assemblies, perform GD&T analyses, create 3D models and BOMs, and support prototype validation with the prototyping team. Strong English skills and a Bachelor’s degree are required, with at least two years of experience.

• Proficiency in CAD software and drafting tools.

Responsabilités

• Review and interpret technical documentation and supplier drawings.
• Design and develop mechanical components and sub-assemblies per requirements.
• Perform GD&T calculations and tolerance analyses.
• Develop 3D assemblies and BOMs.
• Carry out kinematic analyses of components and assemblies.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings for prototype production.
• Refine components with prototyping and industrialisation teams.
• Build and evaluate prototypes and participate in testing and validation.
• Utilise AI-enabled tools to support CAD workflow and documentation.

Join our Mechanical Engineering team and contribute to the development of innovative products from concept to prototype.

Reporting to the Head of Development, Mechanical Engineering, you will contribute to the design and development of of our products throughout the prototyping phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret technical documentation, including product specifications, functional diagrams, concept schematics, and supplier manufacturing drawings.
• Contribute to the design and development of mechanical components and sub-assemblies in accordance with technical requirements and engineering standards.
• Perform functional tolerance analyses and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) calculations.
• Develop 3D assemblies, alternative configurations, and associated Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Carry out kinematic analyses of mechanical components and assemblies.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation and detailed engineering drawings to support prototype production.
• Refine and optimise components in collaboration with the prototyping and industrialisation teams.
• Build and evaluate prototypes, participating in mechanical inspections, functional testing, and validation activities.
• Utilise AI-enabled tools to support technical documentation, concept generation, and CAD workflow automation.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Product Design, Mechanical Design, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software and technical drafting tools.
• Strong understanding of spatial geometry, including perspective, descriptive, and three-dimensional geometry.
• Good working knowledge of English.
