LTTS is seeking an experienced CAD Designer/Drafter to support projects in Blois, France, specializing in creating, updating and maintaining accurate As-Built documentation. You will ensure P&ID, 2D layouts and 3D models reflect current installations and project changes.

Qualifications include a diploma in mechanical engineering or CAD drafting, proven AutoCAD 2D/3D skills, and knowledge of piping standards (ASME, SMS, DIN). Proficient English and French communication are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical qualification in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Proven experience using AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD 3D.
• Experience updating P&IDs, equipment layouts, and as-built drawings.
• Knowledge of piping standards: ASME, SMS, DIN.
• Understanding of piping systems, valves, and instrumentation.
• Onsite measurement ability and accurate validation of technical data.
• Strong document-control and drawing-management skills.
• Basic English communication; professional French proficiency for assignment.

CAD Designer/Drafter

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer / As-Built CAD Drafter to support project activities at the Blois.

The primary responsibility of this role is to create, update, and maintain accurate As-Built technical documentation. The selected candidate will ensure that Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, 2D layouts, and applicable 3D models accurately reflect the current physical installation and all modifications completed during recent projects.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant diploma or technical qualification in mechanical engineering, piping design, CAD drafting, industrial design, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience using AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD 3D.
• Experience preparing and updating P&IDs, equipment layouts, and As-Built drawings.
• Knowledge of piping standards such as ASME, SMS, and DIN.
• Good understanding of piping systems, valves, piping connections, slopes, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with process instruments such as PITs, TITs, and flowmeters.
• Experience with hygienic or clean-design technologies.
• Ability to perform accurate onsite measurements and validate technical information.
• Strong document-control, drawing-management, and file-organization skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned activities with limited supervision.
• Willingness to request general instructions or technical information when clarification is required.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Professional working proficiency in French, as the assignment will be conducted primarily in French.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or process-industry environment.
• Experience supporting cosmetic, shampoo, personal-care, food, pharmaceutical, or other hygienic manufacturing processes.
