Airbus Operations SAS, based in Toulouse, France, seeks an SE/MBSE Capabilities Leader to drive multi-year MBSE strategy for propulsion systems. You will lead cross-functional teams, deploy SysML/MBSE across architecture, validation, and testing, and coach engineers on modeling tools to enhance project delivery.

The role requires deep powerplant systems engineering knowledge, financial forecasting skills, and English fluency with French as an asset.

Qualifications

• Background in Engineering with aircraft or propulsion systems specialization.
• 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering (SE), MBSE, and strategic project management.
• Hands-on modeling with UML/SysML (Cameo, MagicDraw, Capella, Matlab Simulink, Amesim).
• Strong powerplant systems engineering expertise (engine control, system integration, thermal management).
• Proven skills in financial forecasting, budgeting, and ROI for technical transformations.
• English advanced; French is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Build and execute a multi-year financial and capability roadmap for MBSE tools and processes to deliver quantifiable business cases.
• Deploy scaled SysML and MBSE capabilities covering architecture, test, validation, and qualification for propulsion systems across the digital ecosystem.
• Steer cross-functional technical alignment with engine manufacturers, powerplant suppliers, and internal teams to ensure system coherence.
• Coach engineering teams and managers on modeling tools to drive method adoption across project perimeters.
• Monitor project KPIs and feed lessons learned into continuous improvement deliverables for the Propulsion center.
