MRP-Global in Marseille is seeking a PHP/Laravel/Symfony Developer for a permanent role. The position requires 3 days on-site per week and reports to the Lead Developer. You will design, develop, modernise and maintain business-critical applications and APIs in a PHP environment.

You will build REST/GraphQL APIs, optimise MySQL/Oracle databases and implement secure APIs using OAuth2 and JWT. Docker, GitLab CI/CD and Azure cloud will be part of daily work in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong experience with Laravel and Symfony.
• Excellent REST API development and integration.
• Relational database expertise (MySQL and/or Oracle).
• Solid understanding of OOP, MVC, SOLID, PSR and DDD.
• Experience with Docker and GitLab CI/CD.
• Automated testing experience ( PHPUnit, Pest or equivalent ).
• API security knowledge (OAuth2, JWT).
• Event-driven architectures, Kafka or Redpanda knowledge.
• Cloud familiarity (Azure).
• Fluent English and French, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain applications and APIs using PHP, Laravel and/or Symfony.
• Analyse requirements, investigate issues and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Design and develop REST/GraphQL APIs and system integrations.
• Optimize relational databases and complex SQL queries (MySQL/Oracle).
• Implement integrations, automation and data flows; modernise legacy apps.
• Apply SOLID, PSR, MVC and DDD; write unit/integration tests.
• Collaborate with DevOps, product and business teams in Agile.
• Mentor junior developers and improve development processes.
