Job summary

CMA CGM Group offers an internship in the Corporate Legal team, based in Marseille, France. You will assist in a broad range of corporate law matters across France and internationally, supporting counsels on day-to-day and complex transactions.

You will help with governance, research, and digital transformation initiatives within a fast-paced, multicultural environment. French internship with potential bar exam prep support may be available.

Qualifications

Currently completing or already hold a Master 2 / Bac+5 in Business Law, ideally with Corporate Law specialization.
May be preparing for the French Bar exam (CRFPA) or training as a trainee lawyer.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional language is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support legal counsels across a diversified scope including port terminals, shipping, vessel financing, shipping agencies, media, air freight and decarbonization projects.
Assist corporate transactions from routine matters like annual accounts and mandates to complex moves such as capital increases, mergers, asset transfers and M&A.
Contribute to external growth projects, financing transactions and internal reorganizations.
Support governance activities: drafting powers of attorney, minutes, board meetings; liaise with external advisers.
